Our Company
Habitat Interiors has been helping people create beautiful environments for over twenty years, integrating each client's unique needs, personality and lifestyle.
We have been honored to receive many awards for excellence in interior design including The Gold Award in the CHBA - Thompson Okanagan Housing Awards.
Over the past twelve years we have helped to create more than twenty show homes for Dilworth Mountain, Mission Ridge & South Ridge. However, we truly feel the greatest gauge of success is that our clients continue to invite us back & happily recommend us to their family & friends.
Our Design Team
Habitat Interiors designers consists of Paulette Harte & Andrea Harte a mother & daughter design team, each bringing their own unique strengths to the company.
Paulette has worked in the design field her whole life. Earning her degrees with honors, in arts and design, she went on be a lecturer in her university's Arts Department. She has lived in India & Africa and has explored art & design through extentsive world travel. Working as an interior designer more than twenty five years she has enjoyed living & working in the Okanagan since 1981.
Andrea has grown up in the family business of design. At university she first studied fine arts and then continued her education, graduating with honors in her diploma in interior design. She has examined diverse styles of architecture & design through travel in Indonesia & Europe. Working with Habitat Interiors for over fifteen years she continues her creative enthusiasm for arts & design.
The Habitat Interiors team also includes many highly qualified associates, including drapery seamstresses & installers, custom upholstered & wood furniture manufacturers, tile, carpet & hardwood installers, painters & wallpaper hangers and many others. We have a team of experienced craftsmen at your service.
